Shipping & returns policy.
Free standard shipping, a 7-day free trial, and a 3-month warranty on everything we sell. The detail is below — no fine print.

1. Where we ship
We ship within the United States only — to all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii. We don't currently ship internationally. If you have a question about delivery to a US territory or APO/FPO address, email support@sonamusic.com before ordering.
2. Shipping speed and cost
- Standard shipping — Free. 3–5 business days within the contiguous US; 5–9 business days to Alaska and Hawaii.
- Express shipping — $20 flat. 1–2 business days within the contiguous US; 2–4 business days to Alaska and Hawaii.
- Free Express shipping is unlocked automatically on orders over $250.
- Every order ships carbon-neutral.
In-stock orders placed before 2pm ET on a business day ship the same day. Orders placed after, on weekends, or on US public holidays ship the next business day.
3. Tracking and delivery
You'll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse. You can also track an order any time from the Track order page using your order number and email. Signature is required on delivery for orders above $300.
4. Sales tax
All prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state and local rates. There are no import duties or customs fees since every order ships and delivers within the United States.
5. The 7-day free trial
Buy any Sona audio product (headphones, earbuds, speakers) and try it at home for 7 days. If it isn't for you, return it for a full refund — including your original standard shipping cost — and we'll pay the return shipping too.
6. Damaged or defective on arrival
We inspect every order before it leaves, but if your product arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@sonamusic.com with a photo. We will arrange a free replacement or full refund — your choice — within 7 business days of approving the claim.
7. How to return an item
- Email support@sonamusic.com with your order number. We'll reply within one business hour with a prepaid return label.
- Pack the product in its original box if possible, with the included accessories.
- Drop the parcel at any nominated carrier point (DHL, UPS, FedEx, or your local partner).
- We'll email you when the return is received and the refund is processed.
8. Refund timing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of receiving your return. Depending on your bank, the funds usually appear within 1–5 additional working days.
9. What we can't accept
For hygiene and safety reasons, we can't accept returns of:
- In-ear tips or memory-foam ear cushions that have been used (the sealed spare set is fine).
- Products with intentional damage, missing serial numbers, or non-Sona modifications.
- Items bought from a third-party reseller — those returns go through the original retailer.
10. Warranty
Every Sona product is covered by a 3-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from delivery. Batteries are covered against capacity loss below 80% for the full 3 months. To open a warranty claim, email support@sonamusic.com with your order number and a short description of the issue.
11. Order changes and cancellation
We start picking and packing within minutes of an order being placed, so we can only change or cancel an order before it ships. Email support@sonamusic.com as soon as possible and we'll do our best.
12. Lost or stolen parcels
If your tracking shows “delivered” but you haven't received the parcel, contact us within 14 days. We'll open an investigation with the carrier and, where confirmed, replace or refund your order at no cost.
