Cookies

Cookie policy.

How Sona uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the store working, secure, and easy to use.

Last updated: June 27, 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files saved to your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, remember preferences, keep you signed in, and measure how pages are used.

2. The cookies we use

We group cookies into four categories. You can accept or reject each category (except “Strictly necessary”, which the store cannot work without).

  • Strictly necessary — keep your cart, session, sign-in, and checkout secure. Always on.
  • Functional — remember language, region, and recently viewed products. Improve usability.
  • Analytics — measure aggregate page performance and the most-used flows so we can improve them. No advertising profile is built.
  • Marketing — used only if you opt in. Help us measure whether a campaign brought you to the site.

3. First-party and third-party cookies

Most cookies are first-party (set by Sona). A small number are third-party cookies set by our trusted providers for specific purposes:

  • Stripe — secure payment processing and fraud prevention.
  • PayPal — express checkout and payment confirmation.
  • Analytics provider — aggregate performance metrics (IPs are anonymised before storage).

4. How long cookies last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last for a defined period (from a few days for cart persistence up to 13 months for analytics). You can clear all cookies at any time from your browser settings.

5. Managing your choices

You can change cookie preferences any time by clearing the cookies in your browser or contacting support@sonamusic.com. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the store (cart, sign-in, checkout) will stop working.

6. Browser tools

Most browsers let you view, restrict or delete cookies from their privacy settings. Common shortcuts:

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

7. Updates

We may update this policy when we change the tools we use or when the law changes. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
